This is my first post. Yay! So, anyway, last weekend (9/28), the Great Muta won the All Japan Triple Crown championship from Kohei Suwama in Yokahoma, Japan with a moonsault press. Muta, of course, is the alter ego of IWGP (New Japan) champion Keiji Muto. This makes Muto the only wrestler besides Satoshi Kojima to hold both titles simultaneously. On the same show, Pro Wrestling NOAH's Naomichi Marufuji defeated Ryuji Hijikata with the Pole Shift (fisherman's suplex into sit-out tombstone piledriver) to win the AJPW Jr. title. It's always intriguing to see NOAH and AJ work together, since NOAH was created when Mitsuharu Misawa and some others split from AJ to form their own group. Go to ajpw.puroresufan.com for more.
